$600.00

Course Description: P3 Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) Course

Our two-day (22 hour) Daylight/ Lowlight Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) course is designed for professionals seeking to elevate their proficiency in medium-range precision shooting with AR-15 style gas guns. Using calibers such as 5.56/.223, 6mm ARC, 6.5 Grendel, and others, participants will engage targets at distances ranging from 100 to 600 yards, and push out to 800 yards, shooter-dependent. The course will include both daytime and nighttime shooting to build competence and confidence under various conditions.

This course is structured around scientifically validated training methodologies and led by an instructor cadre of former special operations combat veteran snipers. Our goal is to drive student performance towards on-demand competence in meeting or exceeding the P3 DMR standards. Through the use of quantifiable data and performance tracking, students will receive individualized instruction that targets their specific developmental needs.

Students will engage targets using magnified optics with a minimum top-end of 6 power, but ideally 8+ power, all while shooting from supported positions such as prone, kneeling, and standing, as well as unsupported seated positions. The course of instruction will focus on practical applications of the designated marksman role, providing students with the skills needed to bridge the gap between typical 100 to 200 yard engagements and the extended ranges realistic for the DMR role.

Course Highlights:
- **Instructor Cadre:** All instructors are former special operations combat veteran snipers with extensive experience in real-world engagements.
- **Scientifically Driven Instruction:** Our curriculum is built on validated instructional methods that prioritize the efficacy of the course and the development of each student.
- **Day and Night Shooting:** Students will engage targets under various light conditions to build competence in all environments.
- **Supported and Unsupported Positions:** Drills include shooting from supported prone, kneeling, and standing, as well as unsupported seated positions to develop a comprehensive skill set.
- **Engagement Distances:** Engage targets from 100-600 yards, with potential extensions to 800 yards, depending on shooter capability.
- **Performance Tracking:** Quantifiable data will be used to drive instruction, giving students clear feedback on their performance and progress.

This course bridges the gap between standard AR-15 shooters and a highly capable Designated Marksman, preparing students to make effective engagements at extended distances. Join us to develop the skills necessary to exceed the standard and achieve on-demand competence as a Designated Marksman.
